Italian Recipe For Pasta

For this recipe, you will need:- 1 pound of pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. 3. Add the can of crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. 4. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5.
