- 1 onion

- 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp of red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp of oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Follow these steps to make palakura:- Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
- Chop the onion, green chilies, ginger, and garlic.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
- Once the seeds start to splutter, add the onion, green chilies, ginger, and garlic.
- Saute the onion mixture until it turns golden brown.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder to the pan and mix well.
- Add the chopped spinach leaves to the pan and mix well.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Cover the pan and let the spinach cook for about 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
- After 5-7 minutes, remove the cover and stir the spinach well.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spinach is cooked completely.
- Turn off the heat and let the palakura cool down for a few minutes.
- Once the palakura has cooled down, transfer it to a serving dish.
- Your palakura is now ready to be served.
