Poor Man Perogies Recipe

To make poor man perogies, you’ll need the following ingredients:- 1 pound of pasta shells
- 1 cup of mashed potatoes
- ½ cup of grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes and grated cheddar cheese until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 3. Stuff each pasta shell with the potato and cheese mixture, using a spoon or your fingers to press it in. 4. In a large frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is soft and translucent. 5. Add the stuffed pasta shells to the frying pan, and stir gently to coat them in the onion and garlic mixture. 6. Drizzle the olive oil over the pasta shells, and season with salt and pepper to taste. 7. Fry the pasta shells for 5-10 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown. 8.
