For the cake:- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). 2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. 3. Add the vegetable oil, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and orange juice to the mixing bowl, and whisk until the batter is smooth. 4. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan. 5. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. 6. While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the orange juice and powdered sugar until the glaze is smooth. 7. Once the cake has finished baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. 8.
