Baked Fettuccine Recipe

For this recipe, you will need:- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside. 3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up any large pieces with a wooden spoon. 4. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. 5. Pour in the marinara sauce and stir to combine. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes. 6. In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper. 7. To assemble the dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. 8. Add a layer of cooked fettuccine on top of the meat sauce. 9. Spread a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture on top of the fettuccine. 10. Repeat the layers of meat sauce, fettuccine, and ricotta cheese until you have used up all of your ingredients. 11. Top the final layer of ricotta cheese with shredded mozzarella cheese. 12. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. 13. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 14. Let the baked fettuccine cool for a few minutes before serving.Nutrition
