Manchurian Noodle Recipe

The ingredients needed to make Manchurian Noodle are as follows:- 200g of noodles
- 1 cup of chopped vegetables (carrots, capsicum, cabbage, and spring onions)
- 2 tbsp of cornflour
- 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp of red chili powder
- 1 tsp of vinegar
- 1 tsp of sugar
- 1 tsp of black pepper powder
- 2 cups of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Now that we have all the ingredients, let's start with the instructions to make Manchurian Noodle:- Boil the noodles in a pot of water for 5-6 minutes or until they are cooked. Drain the water and keep the noodles aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add cornflour, all-purpose flour, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, and salt. Mix all the ingredients well and add a little water to make a smooth batter.
- Add the cooked noodles to the batter and mix well so that the noodles are coated with the batter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the noodles in small batches until they turn golden brown and crispy. Drain the excess oil on a paper towel and keep the noodles aside.
- In another pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil and add chopped vegetables. Stir fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes or until they are cooked but still crunchy.
- Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, black pepper powder, and salt to the vegetables. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of water to the pan and bring it to a boil. In a separate bowl, mix 2 tbsp of cornflour with 1/4 cup of water and add it to the pan. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried noodles to the pan and toss them well with the sauce so that the noodles are coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with some chopped spring onions and serve hot.
