Instructions
Follow these steps to make mushroom ketchup:- Clean and chop the mushrooms into small pieces.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and sauté until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 10 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water.
