For the Chocolate Cake:- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of hot water
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350F. Step 2: Start by making the caramel. In a small saucepan, heat the sugar over medium heat until it melts and turns into a golden brown color. Make sure to stir constantly to prevent the sugar from burning. Once the sugar has melted, pour it into a 9-inch bundt pan, making sure to coat the entire bottom of the pan. Set aside. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Step 4: Add the vegetable oil and eggs to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Step 5: Slowly add the hot water to the mixture and stir until the batter is smooth. Step 6: Pour the chocolate cake batter into the prepared bundt pan, over the caramel. Step 7: In a blender, combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. Step 8: Carefully pour the flan mixture over the chocolate cake batter. Step 9: Cover the bundt pan with aluminum foil and place it in a large baking dish. Fill the baking dish with enough hot water to come halfway up the sides of the bundt pan. Step 10: Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Step 11: Remove the bundt pan from the baking dish and let it cool to room temperature. Step 12: Once the chocoflan has cooled, run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen it. Step 13: Invert the chocoflan onto a serving plate, making sure to hold onto the pan and plate to prevent it from falling. Step 14: Serve and enjoy!Nutrition
