Follow these easy steps to make vegetable biryani:- Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water and keep the rice aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick, and cardamom pods. Saute for a few seconds.
- Add chopped onions and saute until they turn golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
