Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a towel. Let it rise for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size. 5. Preheat the oven to 450°F. 6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 7. In a large pot, bring 10 cups of water and the baking soda to a boil. 8. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. 9. Roll each piece into a rope about 18 inches long. 10. Shape the rope into a pretzel shape. 11. Drop each pretzel into the boiling water for about 30 seconds. 12. Remove the pretzels from the water and place them on the prepared baking sheet. 13.
