Instructions

1. Clean the mushroom by wiping them with a damp cloth. Slice them into bite-sized pieces and keep aside. 2. Finely chop the onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, and green chilies. 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. 4. Add chopped garlic and ginger and sauté for a minute. 5. Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies and cook until the tomatoes turn soft and mushy. 6. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for a minute. 7. Add sliced mushrooms and salt to taste. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. 8. Add water and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 10-12 minutes on medium heat. 9. Once the mushroom is cooked, remove the lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the gravy thickens. 10.
