Instructions

Add the cream, egg yolks, and vanilla and whisk until well combined. 14. Pour the filling into the cooled crust. 15. Bake the pie for 30 minutes. 16. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C) and continue baking until the filling is set around edges but still slightly jiggly in center, about 20-25 minutes longer. 17. Cool the pie completely on a wire rack. 18. Chill uncovered overnight. 19. Sift powdered sugar lightly over top of pie. 20. Cut the pie into wedges and serve.
