- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Follow the steps below to make Sag Aloo:- Peel and chop the potatoes into small cubes. Wash and chop the spinach.
- Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When they start to splutter, add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion turns translucent.
- Add the chopped potatoes and sauté for a few minutes until they are slightly cooked.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the potatoes are fully cooked.
- Add chopped spinach and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until the spinach is wilted.
- Turn off the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Serve Sag Aloo hot with rice, naan, or roti.
